Fundraising for sleepers - Marten House Carehome

Marten House is a wonderful housing environment for the elderly in Burgess Hill.

We were thrilled to be a part of their rooftop garden project. One of the residents had raised the money himself because he wanted to create a peaceful oasis where he and his fellow residents could enjoy some gardening.

Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to carry the raised sleepers up many flights of stairs. It was definitely hard work, but seeing the smiles on the residents' faces made it all worth it.

We hope that this new addition to their rooftop garden brings them joy and tranquility as they plant and prepare for the upcoming Spring months.

Having a garden space is incredibly important - it provides a beautiful and serene outdoor environment where you can relax and connect with nature. Gardening can be a therapeutic and fulfilling hobby, allowing you to stay active and maintain mobility. It also offers a sense of purpose and accomplishment as you watch your plants grow and flourish.
